For anyone that knows Alaric, bear in mind that I warned him I would tell everyone...
He has a "great idea for a script". It's a remake of Casablanca, set in a contempotary world with Zombies instead of Nazis.
How does one come up with such an idea. Watching the classic flick, does one articulate the concern that "this would be so much better ... with zombies?"
Crazy.

a little too aware & a little too cynical.
I work in film, so am fully aware of the number of people, the length of time, the amount of sweat, tears and oftentimes blood that goes into making a movie. No matter how bad a movie, there are hundreds of people that worked incredibly hard and did a perfectly fine job.
I, however, do not feel that this excuses me whatsoever from fulfilling my duty as a cinephile to mock the utter shite that Hollywood produces, as well as the ridiculous, egotistical people that populate it.
I used to write a movie news column and with a few sidekicks, this is the blog continuation of it.
